DIABETES- PANCREATITIS

DIABETES - PANCREATITIS

Diabetes refers to a group of diseases that affect how your body uses blood sugar (glucose). Glucose is vital to your health because it is an important source of energy your brain and for the cells that make up your muscles and tissues.

The glucose your body needs comes from the hormone insulin produced by the pancreas to carry the glucose in the bloodstream to the cells that need it.

Insulin is a peptide hormone containing two chains cross-linked by disulfide bridges, so it contains sulfur.

If you have type 1 diabetes, your body does not make insulin. Your immune system, which normally fights harmful bacteria or viruses, attacks and destroys the cells in your pancreas that make insulin. This leaves you with little or no insulin. Instead of being transported into your cells, sugar builds up in your bloodstream. Type 1 diabetes is usually diagnosed in children and young adults, although it can appear at any age. People with type 1 diabetes need to take insulin every day to stay alive.

As we have read already, since the publication of Dr. Jacob’s books “The Miracle Of MSM” and “MSM The Definitive Guide,” more than six hundred peer reviewed studies have been published with many pointing to the indisputable MSM auto normalizing effects at the cell level in other health disorders as in many different cancers. This is certainly a reassuring factor and most importantly is the fact that MSM does not interact with any medicine and has very mild side effects. One can take MSM as a complement to any existing treatment without fear.

If you have type 2 diabetes, your body does not produce insulin well. This type of diabetes develops most often in middle-aged and older people. Type 2 is the most common type of diabetes.

The Obesity Action Coalition helps overweight people with type 2 diabetes because it is well known that People who are categorized as “overweight,” according to body-mass-index (BMI), are three times more likely to have type 2 diabetes compared to people who have a “normal weight.”

A new study was published in the Journal of the American Medical Association on January 27, 2024, suggests that:

Bariatric surgery, also called weight loss surgery, leads to better blood sugar control and less medication use long-term in people with type 2 diabetes than non-surgical management with medications such as insulin and metformin.

With this surgery, it is believed that people may easily be able to live without the need for diabetes medication with just a weight control practice.

By now you must understand that I prefer surgery to any kind of medicine and their side effects. Surgery has its limited risks, but it comes with very few side effects in limited cases.

One can see the study here:

In both cases, because of the excess sugar in the bloodstream, the walls of the blood vessels are damaged. This can cause tingling, numbness, burning or pain that usually begins at the tips of the toes or fingers and gradually spreads upward. Damage to the nerves (neuropathy) related to digestion can cause problems with nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, or constipation.

Because more than thirty years of clinical experience show that:
1.  MSM dilates the blood vessels and increases blood flow.
2.  MSM increases the ability of the body to produce insulin. As mentioned in the third paragraph above, insulin contains sulfur.
3. MSM has an immune normalizing effect in some autoimmune diseases, MSM should help reduce the symptoms. This does not mean that you will be able to reduce your medication, it just means that you may have less symptoms. MSM together with your medication may control the symptoms better.
4.  MSM is helpful for the diabetic neuropathy of the gastrointestinal tract.

Because older people need MSM to relieve all their pain, the use of MSM will help not only your whole body but may also control the diabetes symptoms. Please notify your physician before doing so. And if your physician does not know about MSM, tell her or him to read the books "The Miracle of MSM" and "MSM the Definitive Guide" for medical professionals.

PANCREATITIS

Pancreatitis is inflammation of the pancreas. There are many direct and indirect causes of this condition.

MSM’s anti-inflammatory properties, MSM may help reduce the episodes as it has been observed in diabetes.

The suggested dosage is 2,000 to 6,000 mg of MSM daily in the form of crystals or capsules. Start slowly and increase the daily dose up to 10,000 mg to see the results.

One should also use the 15% therapeutic Topical gel to increase blood flow to the hands and feet.

Notice: Every time you use the MSM therapeutic topical gel, make sure your hands and the massaged area are clean because the MSM penetrates the skin, and one does not want to infect the skin with dirt. Also make sure that you rub the MSM gel in until your hands and the massaged area are completely dry to avoid the MSM crystals staying on top of your skin when the gel’s water evaporates. The demineralized water-based gel contains 15% MSM, which is the maximum to avoid crystallization. So, to prevent the MSM from crystallizing in the MSM gel bottle, do not forget to close the MSM gel bottle lid after use.
