ALLERGIES
ADHD - HAY FEVER (RHINITIS) - POISON IVY
The U.S. National Center on Health Statistics reports that sinus and allergy problems were the number one chronic health complaint of over one hundred two million sufferers in the country in 2021.
According to allergy specialists, food allergies or sensitivities rather than causing sudden reactions, cause delayed reactions that may take three hours to three days to show symptoms. This makes it hard to identify the specific allergenic food. Symptoms vary and range from GI tract disturbance, headaches, hives, and even behavioral changes.
A surprising fact about allergies and behavioral changes have been observed in Attention-Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) as reported below:
In her August 4, 1997, book “IS THIS YOUR CHILD’S WORLD?”, Dr. Doris Rapp, M.D., an environmental medicine expert reports that “many scientific studies have indicated that as many as 66% of children diagnosed with Attention-Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder or ADHD actually have an unrecognized allergy causing the symptoms.”
Allergies occur when your immune system reacts to a foreign substance or a food. Your immune system produces substances known as antibodies. When you have allergies, your immune system makes antibodies that identify a particular allergen as harmful, even though it is not. When you encounter the allergen, your immune system's reaction can inflame your skin, sinuses, airways, or digestive system or change the way one behaves as in the case of ADHD sufferers.
Allergy is a hypersensitive reaction to the presence of an exterior agent (allergen) in the air or substances in certain foods. Symptoms vary widely but may include bronchial congestion, the appearance of a rash (often itchy), vomiting, edema, conjunctivitis or puffy eyes, headache, runny nose, etc.
Adrenaline is a powerful stress hormone and neurotransmitter produced by the adrenal glands when the parasympathetic nervous system is activated. It plays a vital role in the body’s acute stress response by stimulating the sympathetic nervous system.
Adrenaline is involved in various important functions throughout the body such as breathing, muscle contractions, and the fight or flight response. It can also be used as a drug due to its various important functions.
This hormone has been produced by drug manufacturers and used as a treatment agent under the name EPINEPHRINE for many different health conditions.
One must remember what we saw in WHAT IS MSM AND ITS IMPORTANCE IN OUR LIFE:
The adrenal glands produce hormones that help regulate your metabolism, immune system, blood pressure and other essential functions.
As we previously saw, MSM was first identified in animal body as a constituent of the adrenal glands. So, it is not produced by the adrenal glands due to an adverse reaction the way adrenalin is, MSM is already part of the adrenal glands constituents and continuously protects you from any allergen.
By taking the MSM natural sulfur nutritional supplement, it means that the body does not react to any foreign substance and does not trigger your immune system to make any antibody including adrenalin.
As we already saw in MSM’S KNOWN BENEFITS, Dr. Jacob and his team have observed MSM’s antiallergenic properties in many health disorders. Some of these cases are reported below as well as some peer reviewed published studies corroborating these MSM properties.
EPINEPHRINE is mostly taken by injection under allergist supervision, it has many side effects, and it has life threatening interactions with some drugs. EPINEPHRINE is considered a supportive treatment for severe allergic episodes. Once you use it, you need to call 911 or go to the closest emergency room. Because one injection is not always enough, people using this drug need to carry two of these injection pens with them all the time. If the first injection does not seem to help, the second injection must be administered ASAP.
People should take the anti-allergenic MSM sulfur nutritional supplement which will not only help with their allergy disorder but help their whole body for pennies a day without injections and allergist supervision, and without all other risks associated with these severe allergic episodes.
Taking MSM does not mean that one needs to stop carrying two injections pens. One needs to use the MSM as an added treatment until no more allergic reactions are happening for an extended period of time by experiencing with the allergen and after consultation with one’s doctor.
The MSM sulfur nutritional supplement is vastly available and inexpensive, and most importantly, one is using a fully nontoxic natural process without medicines side effects and their excessive cost. One must be careful not to run out of MSM and end up in a life-threatening situation.
I have been taking MSM for more than twenty-five years and I now take 20,000-25,000mg of MSM sulfur nutritional supplement a day. I also apply the MSM massaging gel two to three times daily wherever I have muscle or joint pain and when I feel I can be exposed to COVID-19, inside and outside my nostrils.
It is important here also to not confound MSM, a natural sulfur compound found in our body, with sulfites or sulfa. In Dr. Jacob's over thirty-thousand patients of clinical experience, no one with allergy to sulfites has ever had an adverse reaction to MSM. MSM is already a constituent of our body, so whatever MSM one takes just helps reduce our lack of MSM and helps all our body's functioning. If one takes too much MSM, whatever is not needed by the body just goes out in one's waste. This is why MSM is found in urine.
The suggested dosage is 2,000 to 8,000 mg MSM in the form of crystals or capsules to help reduce and even eliminate the incidents of allergic reactions. Start with the lower dose and increase slowly as you go until you reach the level to give you some comfort without side effects and with a low cost. Some people like me need 20,000-25,000 mg and more of MSM daily to get relief.
For airborne allergies, you should also rub your skin with 15% MSM body therapeutic massaging gel whenever allergic reactions or burns are apparent.
Rub your nostrils inside and out with MSM therapeutic topical gel in the high allergenic season. I know from my own more than twenty-five years' experience of doing so helps with my sinusitis.
HAY FEVER:
Here is a peer reviewed study on hay fever also known as "allergic rhinitis" published on 11/29/2018, in the U.S. Library of Medicine, National Institutes of Health on the effects of MSM on allergic rhinitis.
The study can be accessed here:
The study was conducted by the Department of Nutrition, Central Michigan University, Mount Pleasant, MI, United States together with the Nova Southeastern University, Health Professionals Division, Exercise Science, Davie, FL, United States.
Allergic rhinitis, also called hay fever, and asthma have a clear link. Almost four out of five people who have asthma also have hay fever. About a third of the people with hay fever have asthma.
Allergic rhinitis was previously considered to be a disorder localized in the nasal passages, but emerging research indicates that the entire respiratory tract is involved.
The study’s conclusions:
The MSM study product provided significant relief of allergic rhinitis symptoms and objective nasal obstruction measurements without the occurrence of adverse events.
Oral consumption of the study product may reduce the symptoms and onset of allergic rhinitis without the side effects associated with standard-care medication (antihistamines) and at a much lower cost.
POISON IVY:
Poison ivy is an allergenic plant that can grow as a small plant, a shrub, or a climbing vine.
Because of MSM"s antiallergenic properties and the above medical study, I feel confident that the MSM sulfur nutritional supplement and the MSM therapeutic gel can help get rid of this condition.
Notice: Every time you use the MSM therapeutic topical gel, make sure your hands and the massaged area are clean because the MSM penetrates the skin, and one does not want to infect the skin with dirt. Also make sure that you rub the MSM gel in until your hands and the massaged area are completely dry to avoid the MSM crystals staying on top of your skin when the gel’s water evaporates. The demineralized water-based gel contains 15% MSM, which is the maximum to avoid crystallization. So, to prevent the MSM from crystallizing in the MSM gel bottle, do not forget to close the MSM gel bottle lid after use.
The book “The Miracle of MSM” reports the following testimonials and many more:
1.- A twenty-nine-year-old lady from Gardiner, New York, had been suffering all her life from chemical sensitivities mostly from building materials in new buildings, she gets dizzy and gets headaches.
After being symptom free for a couple of years, she started a new job in a brand-new building. After half an hour in the store, she was immediately feeling the symptoms of her allergies with her eyes puffing and feeling fatigue with headaches.
Around the same time, she started taking 1,000 mg MSM three times a day and finally increased her dosage to 10,000 mg a day. On the second week she felt a little better with less symptoms. In the third week all the symptoms were gone, they never came back, and she was able to keep working that new job.
2.- Dr. Stanley W. Jacob, M.D., who authored the book “The Miracle of MSM”, himself had allergies for years, three months a year. He started taking MSM as soon as he discovered MSM’s antiallergenic properties (in the 1970s) and never had to take any allergy medication until his death in 2015 at ninety-one.
3.- One of Dr. Jacob’s sons, from Portland, Oregon, experienced similar relief.
